The life of a preschool teacher

Welcome to my webpage!  This is a blog about me, a preschool teacher, a college student (again), a mom to 3 wonderful kids and a wife.  Yep, you read it right.  Somedays I don't know how I do it.  When it comes right down to it, I love it and I am blessed.  Plus, Im almost done with college.  Next semester I do my student teaching (again).  My full time job right now is a preschool teacher at Sonshine preschool.  I love my job and I love the kids that I teach.

Educational Philosophy

     I believe that teachers need to provide a hands-on learning environment in order for children to learn and feel confident with themselves.  All children are different and have their own unique needs, so as a teacher I  need to get to know my students and provide ways for all of the children to learn.  As a teacher I need to provide ways to teach subjects that are interesting to mystudents.  I want them engaged and focused.  As a teacher I want to provide an environment in which my students feel safe, confident and loved.
